(VDS) or Health Window is a collaborative program with the Consulate of Mexico that aims to facilitate access to primary and preventive health services. The VDS accompanies families to navigate the health system in the United States, assisting in the elimination of barriers such as language and misinformation.VDS promotes healthy lifestyles and disease prevention through collaborations and alliances with local and binational health centers and agencies, such as Centro Multicultural La Familia. Our focus areas include diabetes, hypertension, breast cancer, prostate cancer, depression, anxiety, HIV testing, etc. Ventanilla de Salud also hosts health fairs, vaccination clinics and resource drives in collaboration with our community partners.
