Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Walk

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and a time where anti-violence advocates, including those at Centro Multicultural La Familia, put more energy into raising awareness and supporting survivors. One of the ways we do this is by hosting a 1K Walk every year!. As we march, it is important to the stories of the survivors we serve, and that those we are trying to reach,  see a community standing together to love and protect them. It is from this visibility and community care, that our services are possible and the freedom to thrive is a reality in the lives of the people we serve. In addition to the walk, we have a resource fair for the community and also offer other activities to culminate the event.

We hope to see you this year for our 4th Domestic Violence Awareness Walk on Friday, October 4th!
