Under general supervision by the Program Director, the staff in this role will assists victims of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Stalking and Intimate Partner Violence in a full range of services, including assistance with crisis intervention, community relations, community referrals, and community awareness. This position requires the ability to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative in addition to working collaboratively with diverse systems such as the court system, social services agencies, police departments among others.
The Strategic & Education Director plays an integral role in shaping the future direction of our organization by developing and implementing strategic plans that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives. This position involves a deep analysis of nonprofit sector trends, competitive landscapes, and internal capabilities to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement. By working closely with senior management and various departments, the Strategic & Education Director ensures that the organization remains agile and responsive to community programs, partnerships and building our capital campaign, thereby sustaining its long- term success and profitability. Through a combination of analytical and creative thinking, this role takes the lead in fundraising activities and strategic planning for sustainability.

These includes academic and career goal setting, learning strategies, time management and organization, self-regulation and self-efficacy. Assists students in developing self-efficacy by identifying and overcoming obstacles that may be impeding academic success; works with students to learn strong time management and organization skills; motivates students to practice self-regulation and take ownership of their academic success. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community and with families with diverse backgrounds and limited English proficiency. This position also requires supervising other staff in the program and Family education program.
