Mental Health Program

To provide no-cost therapeutic services to those in our community by providing a safe space for client’s to discuss and process difficulties being faced. Our staff believes in providing clients with tools and support through the use of empowerment in order to overcome obstacles and achieve their therapeutic goals.  

About the program

Centro’s Mental Health team is composed of bilingual clinicians and offers specialized outpatient therapeutic services for children, adolescents, adults, and families in the areas of mental health, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, cultural adaptation, and other issues. We provide short term, trauma-informed, and solution-focused therapy to help clients improve their quality of life. Centro hosts individual therapy utilizing evidence based approaches.

Services Provided

CMLF offers no-cost short term therapeutic services, mainly serving the community in and around Oakland county. Our multicultural and bilingual clinicians offer specialized counseling services for children, adolescents, adults and families. 

CMLF staff are able to provide services in both English and Spanish. Short term therapeutic services include up to 12 therapeutic sessions at no cost.

Cases and Populations Served:

CMLF’s mental health team works with clients ranging from age 6 to late adulthood. Treating mild to moderate cases of:
